Anticipation

Soon we're due snow. It feels like we've been due snow for such a long time. Having enjoyed a recent romp with the sunshine for a few weeks over Christmas in The Middle East.  I am actually looking forward to seeing the beautiful, glistening wonderment of Winter in all sparkling glory!!  The sky, at the moment is saying something peaceful. There's not a hint of cloud in the sky, as the sunsets the colours are stunningly beautiful,  soft yet paradoxically seeming crisp & clear.  Maybe its the lull before the storm. 

We've enjoyed some gorgeous sunsets from here upon our hill. Out from the kitchen window, through the garden trees I soar up into the night sky :) Here's a beautiful one from last night .. the clouds appeared to be a vibrant colour as if washed in navy & turquoise. An orange glow sank beneath the horizon.  Peacefully beautiful.  Soon the bare branches of the trees will come to life. Beautiful buds soon to raise from within the bark. Amazing energy at Spring time. However, all will unfurl when timing is right. Meanwhile we sit cosy, next to the log fire, flames flickering & dancing awaiting the adorning fall of Winter.
